In Summary
The timeline for the creation of the universe, the Earth and life is rejected by the scientific community because God is supernatural and cannot be observed, tested or repeated. However, the same scientific community teaches the following tenants of the evolutionary model:
-
The universe came from nothing (not observable, no evidence, supernatural, contradicts and defies physics and logic)
-
Exploding atoms from the Big Bang aligned perfectly so that life could exist (mathematically impossible)
-
Lifeless chemicals self-organized into a symphony of extremely sophisticated biochemical machines all working together guided by DNA in order to create life by random chance (unable to replicate in a lab with human intelligence, never observed in nature, mathematically impossible and the Law of Biogenesis states it can’t happen)
-
“Simple” life continued to add new information to DNA through random mutations to create more complex life (no evidence of this, all observations of mutations have been damaging or neutral at best, the opposite of what we see in nature)
-
Our universe is actually just one universe in an infinite number of universes (supernatural and unable to be tested or observed, no evidence or plausible theory to explain this claim and it is not even close to scientific)
Please remember the above bullet points the next time you see on television or read in a magazine how “religious fanatics” refuse to believe in evolution despite it being scientific fact.
The Creation model is extremely consistent. We believe in a God that created a universe of logic and order. We believe that God gave mankind the ability to think, challenge and observe the natural world that He created. Just as God used his imagination and creativity (that is clearly seen in the astounding beauty and diversity of our world), He desires that we discover, build, design and improve our world using our God-given gifts.
If God did in fact create the universe, science can be much more effective with that knowledge as its foundation (rather than the false idea that nature has the power to do things that it can’t). Think of the hundreds of billions of dollars wasted on evolutionary research. Think of the benefits to society if the brilliant minds at NASA spent time trying to improve impoverished countries as opposed to figuring out how our universe came from nothing. What if, instead of spending millions of man-hours each year around the world convincing children and adults that we are pointless accidents with no purpose, we spent that time teaching people that life is precious and that they are uniquely gifted? What, if instead of spending countless resources creating man-made drugs that don’t cure diseases, our medical community understood that God made us perfectly with an immune system that could conquer any disease if it simply worked as designed? What if health education professionals knew that God created our food perfectly and that the farther we veer from His initial design the more problems our body will have? What if psychologists and counselors knew that the key to a successful life and marriage is a God-centered life since that is how God designed us? What if all politicians and leaders believed in a God who not just loves us but also holds us accountable to do the right thing?
If the creation model is correct (and it seems there is very strong evidence that it is), professionals in all fields would not only be better and more effective at what they do, they would greatly benefit society. If the Creation model is true, Creation scientists can be far more effective than a scientist who is starting with the a false assumption that there is no Designer in nature and everything is a result of random chance. It is impossible to predict what random processes are going to do, but a logical and loving Designer can be known and assumptions can be made about the world and about the incredible design within it.
